Mary Poppins

London, 1910: neglected by their busy parents, Jane and Michael wear out one nanny after another. That changes when Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews) literally flies into the house to chase away all the grumpiness. She is exactly what the children imagine a nanny to be: together with her and street painter Bert, they go on one adventure after another and take trips into a world where the children’s room cleans itself, objects come to life, and you can dance with cartoon characters. Spectacular special effects, slapstick humor, lively dance numbers, and several songs that have since become classics make for delightful family entertainment.
